iPad Wallpapers: Some Personal Favorites Part Two
By Dachalan via iPad Wallpaper Gallery
In the second part of my personal favorite wallpapers I’ve brought together images from that place where I most love to be – at the beach or near the ocean. Sandy beaches, rugged coastlines, clear tropical water, palm trees and wooden jetties all feature in my homage to the many seaside vacations I have spent with my family. I find even a busy beach a place of tranquillity and peace, and wallpapers with these types of image create the same emotion in me. That’s great if I’m having an off day in the middle of winter!

iPad Games: More Free iPad Games: Real Solitaire Free
Over the next few days we’ll be reviewing some more of the best free games here on www.iPad.net. First up is Real Solitaire Free by EdgeRift. Solitaire is such an historic and well known game that it barely needs an introduction. This EdgeRift version gives you various playing options and has been designed specifically with the iPad in mind, complete with crisp clear graphics and discrete playing sounds. As a free app, Real Solitaire Free contains advertisements which occupy the bottom of the screen. I’ve heard some people moan and groan about this. Come on guys: EdgeRift have to make their money somehow, and the onscreen adverts really don’t interfere with gameplay. If you really don’t like ads in your apps, then there are plenty of paid gaming apps on a Solitaire theme.
iPad App Reviews: Hurricane HD Hits the Eye Perfectly
We are well into hurricane season (also known as ‘typhoon’ or ‘cyclone’ if it’s over the Pacific, apparently). With the fall equinox just around the corner, the Gulf States and California will be readying themselves for more potential destruction. Today and tomorrow I’ll be reviewing a couple of hurricane tracking apps, the first being Hurricane HD released by Kitty Code. If you live in Florida for example, you’ll need this app. It features live coverage of approaching depressions and any dropping tropical storm that may transform into a hurricane with satellite, radar and cartographic imagery tracking the path of the storm and generating its predicted course. Alongside this essential feature, Hurricane HD is packed full of useful and interesting functionality which will keep every storm-watcher enthralled.

iPad Accessory Review: SwitchEasy RibCage Sleeve
Are you in the market for some iPad protection? If so, you are smart, as keeping your iPad in top shape should be a priority. After all, nobody wants to work on a dinged-up device that is loaded with scratches. To protect your iPad, you can go the case route, pick up a screen protector, or opt for a sleeve. With a sleeve, depending on the model, you might not get full access to the iPad’s functions. Some might be fine with that, and if you fall into this category, then the RibCage from SwitchEasy is a highly recommended choice.
