iPad has been rooted! Spirit jailbreak demonstrated by dev team's MuscleNerd.

Notorious dev-team member “MuscleNerd” has announced root access on the iPad! This is glorious news for everyone as the iPad can now be utilized to its full potential. MuscleNerd says this hack is a port of Comex’s ‘Spirit’ iPhone OS 3.1.3 jailbreak, a browser based hack that exploits a bug found in the 3.2 OS.

Shouldn’t be long before a download is up considering Muscle’s last tweet “Well that was fun Now the cross-team effort with @chronicdevteam, @comex, @chpwn and others to get *everything* working”.

Exciting time’s for iPad owners no doubt!!
